Vampire feeding grounds just outside of San Francisco

Today as I was riding a bike at the gym and flipping thru the “routes”, I came upon a northern California route. As we are going there very soon, I thought “why not”? The route took the rider past the outer boundaries of the San Francisco Bay. If you have ever been out there, it is near where the Chart House is located and the ruins of the old, abandoned natatorium. Having been out that way many times, this is the area that is conjured up when I envisioned Nikolai, Tatianya and eventually Alexi feasting on human essence for survival. I envision this being akin to the seedier side of New Orleans where things initially took a turn for the worse for Nikolai. The natatorium screams for its position in the saga, very ominous, deserted, just the sort of place one would expect a vampire to be lurking in the shadows as the sun falls from the sky……
