Welcome to the official start of the Night Tastings blog!!

Greetings fellow vampire lovers! I am looking forward to getting to know you and in turn you get to know me! I have always been fascinated with vampires, starting with Anne Rice’s Lestat. Coupled with a fortuitous move to California that placed me a stone’s throw from the Napa Valley, and Night Tastings was born! Next week we will be in Napa!! So, look forward to some beautiful photos of those serenely rolling hills!
The vines should be heavily laden with fruit by now!!
Let us know some of your favorite wineries, varietals or just great anecdotes if you have ever had the chance to visit Napa or any other wine regions. I have been to several others, but more about them another time!!

    • HI Nancy! So glad you have that reaction, was what I was going for! there is no better compliment for a fiction writer than to have a reader find that escape.

    • Hi taoyuan! I am looking forward to hearing your take on the book! hope you can start reading soon!!

    • Hi Cathy,
welcome to the Night Tastings blog! I too have been to both Clos Pegase and Chateau Montelena and loved them both. Up in that area of the Napa Valley I also loved visiting Sterling, but it’s still closed from smoke damage. W,e were just out there this summer. While there we toured Castello de Amoroso, V. Sattui, Chateau Montelena (again!), Prager port works, Del Dotto, Caymus, Silver Oak, Sequoia, Raymond. We also rode the wine train. was a great week!! hope to go again sometime in the not too too distant future. Where else have you toured?
